This did not really increased my understanding of my topic because I already know this topic, that's why I chose it. But it helps me by teaching it to others, which is one of the math strategies. This station was fun because I was teaching it to others and I also felt like I was making a Youtube video:) What I learned was trying to make others understand what I was saying about the topic. This activity can help students who are struggling because it shows that more students understand when you learn from your peers.

DeleteMy topic was just a refresher for me. We learned the percent equation in first semester, and I can clearly say that it was my favorite topic, thus explaining why I chose to use the topic for my math tutorial. I found writing the equations fun because I felt like I was a Khan Academy tutor. I gained more ways to teach this to people. This activity would help students understand the topics more clearly because it was in our own words and it showed examples.

DeleteMy favorite topic was the inequality. Learning inequality was fun and easy to understand. I understand inequality more than any topic other than multiplication,addition and subtraction. There was games and other website that was fun and make me understand.
ReplyDeleteMy topic was about solving one step equation. Learning one step equation was good. Solving one step equation was the very easy one. I chose that because i understand more and its easy. I like one step equation because its easy and thank you for teaching us Mr. Tudela
ReplyDeleteMy topic increased my understanding in this activity because it help me learn more about it. What i found fun was doing a tutorial because i like showing how to do things. What i gained from this math tutorial when putting it together was showing how to do it myself, but at the same time helping others. It can help them understand the topic i chose more better which is "How to solve one-step equations"
ReplyDeleteThis did not really increase my understanding of this topic. However, it did help me help others. By doing this topic it helped me review this topic and help others who would need help with it aswell. I also think that by doing this for students struggling they can get another explanation on the topic if the teacher didn't help them understand it well. All in all, I found this station fun because it was very easy to do and also because Mrs.Acera saw my tutorial.
ReplyDeleteFor me, this activity didn't help as I chose a topic I knew I could teach, but I could see how it would someone. I found this activity fun because it was easy and made me feel like I was doing one of those tutorial videos on YouTube. What I gained from putting this math tutorial video was a grade. I think this could help those who are struggling because it forces them to learn more about the topic.
ReplyDeleteMy topic was a refresher for me. During the shoe me video it made me remember and understand the concept solving one step equations better. The video mare me learn how to present myself and speak while I write what I am saying. It made me learn how to follow exactly a time limit and how we should talk in short phrases because we got not that much of time.

I always wanted to do something like this:Record and watch my final product,but I don't have time to do it in my spare time.I gained the experience to make a video more better.This activity can help students in math because it shows examples on how to do the equation and the rules when solving it.
ReplyDeleteThis activity didn't increase my understanding. My topic was factoring algebraic expressions and I already mastered that. The fun part was taking the video because I was able to explain stuff and also write things down. While doing this I learned how to use the show me app better. The activity can help students who are struggling by learning things by themselves. A student can learn how to explain things in their own way and they will be able to understand it.
